I'm a novice

after long years of longing, finally i get to learn on how to play a guitar..
the teacher is... my brother, irfan. i think he just has things with music..i can say he's kind of gifted in music..

my lesson started from the very basic thing.. knowing the pitch for each string..well, we're playing the standard 6 strings acoustic guitar so the pitches are E,A,D,G,B,E, from the 6th -1st string respectively.. irfan didn't teach me much about the pitch[ i bet it's bcoz of my why-it-is-so complicated face..huhu]
so we moved on to the more practical lesson.. learning the CHORDS. i just knew that most of the songs are composed by merely simple chords-not that simple for me though...ehek..

first time strumming the chords..it was just impossible..i told irfan that my fingers aren't long enough to press on different strings on different frets of the guitar..his reply was: everybody feels the same way on their 1st try..ur fingers'll get used to it..n so i tried..

my achievement so far: the basic 4 chords.. C,A,G,D + Em.. (u can already play quite a number of songs with these chords- of course by singing along coz i don't think we can recognize the melody of the song just by strumming)
F is really hard to play..
i did 'numb' n 'keep holdin on' but they don't sound as good as irfan's.. obviously bcoz of my horrible strumming plus the wrong tempo... still don't get the hang of it somehow....
after all, i'm just a beginner...lot more to learn Syafiqah!!!-1 thing's bugging me: do i need to get my own guitar???hurm...

Jijie oh Jijie

introduction: we have 3 cats in the family named Jijie, Simi, n Morie. Jijie's the eldest followed by Simi n Mori. Jijie n Simi are of the same ancestors [ i think they're cousins ]. Morie is still new to the family-Mak found her at school and brought her home.

i bet jijie was all happy tonight until i sent her out at 3.30am. She wasn't supposed to be in the house until morning due to her 'unpredictable' habit. As a female, jijie has a habit abnormal to her nature which is... she goes peeing like a male (pancut) sometimes n worse, in the house!!!
so Mak punishment was prohibiting her from entering the house.

But jijie was just good at making please-let-me-in faces n i just didn't have the heart to send her out when she was soundly sleeping at her favourite spots.

but just now i had to send her out bcoz she suddenly woke up and i heard her coughing only to find out that she puked on the floor!! maybe she got choked on sumthing [she had a lizard for supper so maybe there's sum indigestion problem]. lucky she didn't puke the whole content of her stomach n it was only some phlegm n.. weeds..i think[God knows if it's sumthing else..ehek]

end of story: jijie ended up sleeping outside just like the other nights...

The First Piece

wow...can't believe i'm having my own blog..at last..guess i'll spend more time on writing from now on..[there weren't much of this writing thingy ever since i left school]...blah..this is babbling..

now..where to start??maybe i'll go with TMO this blog..

chelsea n porto match will only start at 3.40am and that's few more hours to wait..wut do i do now? obviously i'm not going to sleep n then wake up at 3.30 [i do that if Abah's around to wake me up]coz it was no easy feat for me to wake up that early in the morning when u only had merely 2-3 hours of sleep b4...ok then..just surf the net and facebooking...
fuh..i think my eyes are already getting blurry after much of blogs reading.. then, [ting] it just hit me..why not start my own blog? it would be interesting to write on wut u have in mind, wouldn't it?
so here goes...........

ps: i think this 1st entry of mine does sound akward...ehek..
